Because passing “health care reform” is more important than, like, anything!
We happy few who learned our arithmetic and budgeting can also see that delaying the “health care reform” spending for six years in order to achieve the appearance of budget savings is, umm, disingenuous.
Yes, that’s today’s word: disingenuous. Plural syllables for: flat out lie.
Muddle through, smart humans: we live in interesting times.
PS: And one other little thing, in case someone in Washington truly has not noticed: the Federal budget is already broken. A $220 billion shortfall in a mere month will do that for you.
